This class offers a playful and relaxing approach to improving balance, posture, quality of movement and connection with a partner through a combination of Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement© lessons and interactive games specifically designed to address the needs of tango dancers.
Text Box: Diego Di Falco &Carolina Zokalski
Elegant, lyrical and creative, they bring to their dancing both the romanticism of traditional salon  tango and the precision and technique of the new generation of profes-sionals. At the age of 22 they became the youngest tango couple to dance on Broadway, starring in the Broadway run of “Forever Tango,” for 14 months. They were choreographers and principal dancers of the PBS special, "Tango Magic."  Diego started dancing at the age of four. Among his teachers were Tango Masters Antonio Todaro, Pupi Castello, Miguel Balmaceda, Pepito Avellaneda and Juan Carlos Copes. With his unique creativity, sensitivity, and tremendous dedica-tion, he has achieved world renown as a master dancer and instructor of the tango. Carolina's artistry has also reached great heights. As a young girl, she received a scholarship from Juan Carlos Copes to perform with other young artists and Robert Duvall in the documen-tary TANGO! produced by National Geographic. In 1991 she was invited to join the National Folkloric Ballet of Argentina. In addition to being excellent performers, they are exquisite social dancers and highly skilled teachers. Their clarity, eye for detail and commun-ication skills make their classes an invaluable learning experience.
